"Chasing Dreams" Gift Set - Lydia

Good morning, I hope you ae enjoying your weekend and are able to get some creative time in before the week ahead. Well today I have a quick and simple little project I made using the gorgeous 'Blair' kits. I have already told yo all how much I love these kits.

So here is my project. Just a simple card and a tag. This would be perfect to finish off a gift with a because card and tag. These colours just call for my attention with the touch of gold also.

This is a simple by pretty card I made using some scrap pieces of paper. I added one of those beautiful gold puffy stickers, some of the chipboard Thickers, enamel dots from my stash and some ink splatters also to finish the card off.

Here are some close ups of the card.

Now the tag I love! Again I used some scrap pieces of paper that are included in the kits, some chipboard Thickers again and some more of the beautiful Maggie Holmes puffy stickers. And nothing is finished without some enamel dots that are from my stash.

Here are some close ups.

I hope this little project I have created this week has inspired you to make just a little something even if it is just a card or a simple tag.

Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead.

"Beautiful Heart" Layout with Lisa

Hi there, Lisa here today to share a 12x12 Scrapbooking layout with you.
I have used the gorgeous "Blair" kits - these kits are packed with lots of Crate Paper goodness (definitely one of my faves)

I scrapped an old photo of my Nan & i at my Deb ball. I was very close to my Nan - she passed 19 years ago now, I still really miss her.
I have always hated having my photo taken, but I am so happy I have this one.

As you can see I did quite a bit of fussy cutting of the gorgeous flowers. I knew that I was going to base the layout on these flowers while co-ordinating the pink & greens with the colour palette in the photo.

Once I decided on my photo & had a rough plan of the papers I was going to use - I thought I would soften the white cardstock background by using the Perfect Pearls powder that came in the Colour kit.
I sprayed some water on some cellophane packaging then dropped a few specks of powder in the water to create almost a shimmery watercolour. I dabbed the packaging all over the cardstock - then put my paint brush in the colour & flicked more around the page. It helped create a really soft pretty look. I have sharpened & brightened this image so you can get a closer look.

I layered quite a few of the patterned papers & a doily behind the photo & mounted it all on foam tape for dimension.

I added lots of detail by using the puffy stickers, tiny word stickers, sequins, washi tape & a label sticker from the kits.
Ronelle has once again done a fabulous job co-ordinating all the goodies.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

'Happy Together' - Lydia

Well hello Scrappery friends, Lydia back. I hope you are all well. So after starting a new school term and recovering from nearly three weeks with appendices, I am finally able to share a layout I created with the new 'Blair' kits.  Can I just say, I am in love with the colours and products in these kits.

So here is my first project using the kits.

Oh my, those colours are all me.  I love them so much. I did do some fussy cutting to give the page another element ad some dimension with those beautiful butterflies.

I love he botanical feel of this kit and the beautiful greens and pinks together. And you can't go past a little black and white also. I am also falling for those gold puffy stickers too.

A layout wouldn't be complete without one of those delicate doilies under the photo.  I also added some tiny words to my layout also.

And the title I used a mix of fronts form the Thickers that are in the TSK. And again I added some enamel dots to finish the page.

I hope you are all creating with your 'Blair' kits and I can't wait to see them if you post tem in the Scrappery Club Inspiration group on Facebook.

Have a wonderful day.
